Only about 1,900 of these were made in 1961. This was a D/G racer for Bandimere Race Track in the Denver Colorado area. The builder hated Corvettes and Camaros and built this small block 289 Ford to race them in 1967. It has been calmed down for the street now but rides like a gasser should. It has a 4″ dropped tube front axle and a 9″ Ford posi-trac rear end with 4.56 gears and large ladder traction bars. It was stored in a Colorado garage for 21 years before I got it in 2015.
