Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to feature this one-off 1933 Ford Woody Custom for sale on consignment in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This Woody was a 4-year build at the well regarded Squeeg’s Kustoms Hot Rod shop in Chandler, Arizona with over $300,000 invested total according to the seller. Starting with a drawing from Hot Rod designer Jimmy Smith, this Woody features a fully custom chassis and hand-fabricated steel body with steel cage inner structure. A Magnum I-beam axle with 4-inch drop up front and a fully chromed Winters Performance quick change rear end with coil springs in the back. Gloss Black paint, the black canvas top and wood panels done by Wood’N Carr (Signal Hill, California) are all show quality. The ’33 Ford grille and split windshield give this hot rod some heritage while Halibrand wheels backed by Wilwood disc brakes bring modern performance and style into the equation. Propelling this work of art is a 402 CID engine sourced from Roush Performance with an 8-stack fuel injection system. This ’33 gets through the gears through a Ford AOD 4-speed automatic transmission and the seller is representing 1,154 miles since the build on this vehicle. The upholstery on this Woody was done by Gabe’s Interiors out of San Bernardino, California and is extremely refined. A Tan leather bench seat, custom dash with Classic Instruments gauge cluster, tachometer mounted on a tilt steering wheel and built-in dash vents for the air conditioning cover just some of the highlights. The inside roofline below the canvas top has been stylishly finished with wood lattice. This ’33 has won its share of trophies on the show circuit and is ready for a new owner.
