The engine is a 302ci V8 out of a 1994 Ford F150 pick up. The heads are rebuilt units off of a Ford 289 engine. The engine was rebuilt, was bored and then line bored and decked. The rotating assembly was balanced. All new internals were put in as was a mild Comp Cam camshaft, new lifters, push rods and roller rocker arms. The engine is very smooth and very dependable good for long trips or for extended idle. The transmission is a rebuilt C4 Ford unit. the rear end is a posi traction unit out of a S10 Chevy truck. The fuel tank (16 gallon Chassis Engineering unit) and radiator (US Radiator) were replaced when the engine was rebuilt. The car has a disc brake set up from Speedway. Rebuilt drums are on the rear. The steering is through a Mullins Vega unit. There is a front custom shock chrome set up. The tie rod ends are stainless units. Mufflers are 22″ Smithy’s. There is a transmission cooler in front of the rear axle. The wiring is by Painless and the instruments are from Speedway.
