1964 Toyota Stout Pick up. These were one of the first Toyotas imported to the United States. They are very rare and not seen very often. This one had been modified years ago and is a neat little Hot Rod Pick Up PROJECT.

The following is a detailed description of my Stout

Mechanical. It is powered by a good running and sounding small block Ford. Not sure if it is a 289 or 302. Has an aluminum intake with a edelbrock 4 bbl. Has a FMX Ford automatic transmission and Ford 8” read end. Has dual exhaust with Glass packs. Been upgraded to front dics brakes. New Alt and regulater. Starts, runs shifts and drives good.

Could probably use front suspension bushings. Drives down the road fine, but creaks and groans over bumps. Brakes stop well but pull a little to the right.

Body: This Truck is 100% rust free. How ever just about every body panel has some type of ding or dent. Doors open and close good, hood operates as it should with inside release, tail gate works fine. Bed is rust free. Truck is wearing much of its original paint. Only key I have is to ignition switch(universal)

Glass: All glass is good. Door glass rolls up and down fine but has some scratches.

Interior: Complete custom dash with gauges. Some work, some don’t. Has steering column out of a later model Toyota truck. Original seats that were recovered years ago and need it again

Wheels and Tires: Has a brand new set of 195 / 70-14 tires on steel wheels

Electrical: most lights like headlites, tail lights and turn signals work, brake lights work. Charging system is new.
