THIS 1957 FORD COURIER SEDAN HAS THE REAR DOOR THAT LIFTS STRAIGHT
UP, ORIGINAL AND CAME THIS WAY. THE ENGINE IS ONE OF THE LAST OVER 500HP 460’S. EQUIPPED WITH A TUNNEL RAM AND TWO EDLEBROCK CARBS. THIS BEAST PUSHES 650HP. THE MOTOR HAS A BROKEN VALVE SPRING. THE SPRING BROKE BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT REPLACED WITH UPGRADED ONES WHEN MOTOR WAS BUILT. THE BROKEN PIECE OF VALVE SPRING WAS RECOVERED UNDER THE VALVE COVER. ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER DAMAGE EXISTS AND NOTHING WENT DOWN INTO THE MOTOR. ALSO I BORROWED THE DISTRIBUTOR FOR ANOTHER CAR SO YOU WILL NEED TO SIMPLY TAKE CARE OF THESE TWO ISSUES AND PUT THE MOTOR BACK TOGETHER AND IT’S RUNNING AGAIN. THE MOTOR HAS 30K MILES ON IT AND IS STILL VERY STRONG. THE TRANSMISSION IS GEARED FOR TRACK OR HIGHWAY USE. IT HAS A RATCHET SHIFT B&M SHIFTER. 9” POSI REAR END. THE RIMS ARE CENTERLINE, ALUMINUM. TIRES ARE SOMETHING THAT YOU’LL NEED TO REPLACE.
