Started with a dry, rust free Texas car that had an amateur restoration in the early 80s. Car was repainted at that time. The passenger side has several chips in the paint, but no dings in the metal – overall the car has all its original metal, shines up nicely and the paint and chrome have nice “age” or “patina” to them. The seat was recovered but the rest of the interior is well worn – there is only a cargo deck in back as this is an original business coupe. I installed a fully rebuilt 1967 283 hooked up to the original non od trans with a wilcap adapter and a diaphragm clutch – car is effortless to drive with a very light clutch pedal. Also installed a ’56 3.22 center section and 28 spline axles for a great compromise of highway speed and in town acceleration. New brakes, tires, steering components, exhaust and full 12v conversion with rebel harness. Have put a couple of thousand miles on it, including one 500mi round trip – cruises effortlessly at 70mph – I have a clear MA title in my name
