1949 Ford 2 door sedan, NO MOTOR…. 3speed O/D transmission is still in the car. Very straight body, great floors, very little rust, 1 spot in the trunk at the left inner fender well, it will take a piece of metal no bigger than 3 inches to fix. Both front fenders have had lower patch panels and inner braces, they will need to be finished, the outer rockers were replaced some time ago, and the left side was rubbed on a trailer while loading and cracked some filler. It has 54 mercury headlight rings welded on, glassed and filled, the hood has been straightened on the front and grill area changed. all of this will need a little more prep work before paint. The hood has a strip down the middle to make a raised body line, the interior panels are there and will make good templets for new panels, the door panels still have the stainless trim on them, the door handles were shaved, it will need bear claw style latches installed, the 49 latches are nothing but trouble. I do have a set of 50 latches if you want to try and make them work. all the side stainless is in the trunk, along with a lot of extra chrome parts, lights, and such. I have a rear glass for the car, all the vent windows, and it has tinted windshields installed. I know all of the side window guides and regulators are there, I just can’t remember if the side glass is there or not. I have an extra set of original gauges for the car. There are a lot of extra parts in the trunk, and a set of original fender skirts, the car has the magic air box still in it. This will make a cool old hot rod if you have the time to finish it. It has duals on it with glass packs. There is a whole lot of car here for the money, and rust free cars are getting very hard to find. and very expensive. I know it took me a few years to find this one, but life has changed and I no longer have time for this hobby anymore. I don’t want to be the old man telling everyone it’s not for sale, and I’m going to fix it up some day.
The right front floor support has some rust, I have a new support for it, and that is included in the sale.
