1948 Chrysler show stopping hot rod. Drive anywhere , runs perfect, passes MA inspection This was a professionally built very high end build that cost 70K about 10 years ago. The odometer read 8000 miles but was replaced with a digital speedometer. The digital speedo is now reading about 500 miles.

What makes this car hot is the rebuilt 454 BB chevy engine with a rebuilt turbo 400 transmission and the Ford 9 inch rear end . The front end is from a 1980 Malibu which gives it a more modern front suspension with disc brakes and tilt wheel.

The seats are leather with wool carpets The gages are Dolphin except the clock and gas gage. I have a dolphin gage to replace gas gage. It has power windows,. power antenna and a nice stereo with trunk mounted CD player

The tires are all new Coopers with Centerline wheels all around

The hideaway headlights were a big part of the custom build. They are from an 83 Nissan Pulsar. The car comes with spare headlight assemblies for both sides , one is NOS.

The car is rust frree. The bottom is very nice as shown in the pictures There are a few small scratches and some paint pops as shown The build is about 10 years old so it has some wear on it.

The paint is SEM hot rod black.

The car is shaved with remote poppers to open trunk and doors. The drivers door has a new popper from dakotadigital. The right door has the old popper still and could be replaced or just open the door manually. A new popper comes with the car with the manual.
