This fantastic Cabriolet is just plain gorgeous! Pictures don’t do this car justice. That fabulous Keleen leather interior is the icing on the cake. We don’t know much about this car because the builder passed away several years ago. We know the ’34 was built about 10 years ago utilizing the best components. The object was to build a first class mild period hot rod. We think he succeeded. The build consisted of a dropped front axle, ’40 Ford hydraulic brakes and a nicely dressed flathead featuring Eddie Meyer heads and intake manifold. Other modifications include conversion to 12 volt with an alternator. Let’s not forget the “Beehive” oil filter – a great period touch! This beauty runs, drives, handles and stops very well. That sumptuous leather interior is very comfortable and its easy to drive. The paint and brightwork are outstanding. Of late this gem has been in storage and, as a result, has a few non critical items that could be addressed. The ammeter and gas guage are inoperative as is the radio. That being said this classic Ford is an outstanding hot rod that is concours field show ready.
