1931 Ford Model A coupe hot rod

All steel highly modified hot rod. most everything is new.

1968 Buick low mileage 430 v/8 engine. “360 hp. w/ 474 ft. lb of torque. all new gaskets, water pump, fuel pump, rebuilt quadrajet carb changed to HEI ignition. Runs great and the car is FAST. Trans is a TH-400 out of the same Buick. B&M black “stealth” shifter, HD custom made drive shaft.

9″ ford non posi rear. ratio is around the 390 – 411 range I figure. all new drum brakes. Front axle is a 4″ drop forged and drilled straight axle from “Speedway” has disc brakes and Vega cross steering. frame is boxed. Fhe rear has a stainless steel 4 link setup w/ chrome coil over shocks.

The fire wall has been set back and all new steel floors fabricated and insulated. note these cars DO NOT have leg room like a Caddy. I fabricated the dash, it has a custom aluminum insert w/ dolphin gauges. the speedometer is GPS, new EZ wiring kit installed. The headlights I converted to halogen bulbs, there is led turn signals, most everything can be seen in the pics.

this is a pure hot rod so there is no heat, a/c or power features, but the windshield does fold out for air. The colors on the car are from a 2020 BMW “Galvanic Gold” w/ “Midnight Black Pearl” fenders. base / clear system. The interior is mostly original looking, was re done at some point. a few little holes in seat cushion. Carpet is newly installed.

front tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman s/r 26×6.00 R15 on new Vision 4″ wheels. Rears are Nitto drag radials 225/60 R15 on vision 8″ wheels.

The car has a nice rake to it and handles very well. Aluminum radiator w/ Flexalite flex wave electric fan. gas tank and battery are in the rumble seat area. I do have the seats for it and also the hood sides [ not repaired or painted] but go with the car.
