Here is one of the nicest, cleanest, most well built A-V8s available today. This is a fun little car that just about anyone can drive, no crazy bad habits at all. Starting with a Brookville steel 29 body the build is on a made for an A SoCal Speed stepped box chassis. The front end is all SoCal chrome and stainless with chrome 46-48 Ford brakes with the rear being an early Bronco with 11×2 drum brakes, 3.25 open gear, e-brake and SoCal radius rods with 40 type transverse spring. Both springs have reversed eyes and the frame is notched front and rear for clearance. Bolt pattern on front and rear is old Ford 5 on 5 1/2 with stainless trim rings and caps being used. Engine is a stock GM 350 SBC crate engine with the only mods being the Edelbrock 2-4 set-up and an Accel/MSD ignitions. Transmission is also factory crate and it is stock with a separate oil cooler and aluminum pan. Radiator is Walker, fuel tank is new RCI tank/cell with the fuel system being AN aluminum/stainless front to rear. Battery is a brand new Interstate with a remote touch pad disconnect from Watsons. Hood is a very nice one piece with four spring loaded pins for hold downs, rather ingenious I must say. Windshield is chopped and although there is no top there is a very nice snap down tonneau with a center zipper. Interior, trunk and dash are very nicely done with seat belts recently added.
