1927 Ford Model T Touring hot rod

Last year of the Model T. Steel body/fenders/running boards with a fiberglass hood. Custom made leather hood straps with “Z” spring. Steel 1929 Model A grille shell with Wardlow bug screen/electric radiator fan.

302 ford engine with an AOD transmission – Lokar shifter. Wilwood front disc brakes – drum rear. Coil-over shocks on rear – Fatman IFS on front (no longer produced). Custom made rectangular tubing frame with a mild “K” crossmember.

Custom made steel wheels (Stockton Wheel Co.), chromed rim/painted hub. Running Firestone dirt track ribbed front and grooved rear tires. Tires are like new, as only driven in town, but are over 10-years old so recommend against highway speeds.

Spun aluminum fuel tank/electric fuel pump. Receiver hitch built into fuel tank mount.

Carbon fiber look dash with Stewart Warner gauges. Motorcycle switch mounted on steering column operates lights (low-high), turn signals and horn. The top bows are present, normally run without them on car. Still needs top and either carpet or rubber flooring.

Paint is shiny, but has some minor chips that are the result of taking the body apart several times during the build process. Not a show car but still very presentable.
